    Are you keeping him in a tank? Because that can cause them a lot of stress. If you are I would suggest a very large rubbermaid container instead.

    How about yellowfoots? Are they okay with the basement? What kind of care do they require? And If you have a redfoot, should you supply them with some kind of a shelter? Like a doghouse?
