What type of turtle is this. We live in mountain home ar. My daughter found it on her driveway.

I could be wrong but I believe it’s a three toed box turtle, quite a beautiful one too😊

Is there three toes on the back feet? If so, then it is a three toe box turtle.

When I looked up three toe box, the shell looks the same as this one
Please tell her to leave it be. If it's in danger of being crushed by a car, or attacked by a dog, then have her move it in the direction it was going into a safe area but not far from where she found it
