Help identifying type

Hi, my family have had this tortoise for many years but never really known much about it. My Grandad used to own it but he has passed away now.

Would anyone have any ideas as to which type of tortoise this is?

Yes a beautiful old female of gracea. For me it looks like gracea ibera.

It's a Greek and looks to be of North African decent particularly Algeria.

I'm amazed you have been able to suggest a breed (and sex!) from this picture alone. I was expecting to have to upload more.
We always thought it was male until someone said it was female.
Can't wait for him/her to wake up!
