It's short and all over the lawn here, Kurma likes it but I don't know what it is :-/

Those are wild violets, great food!

You may be able to find some of the seed pods left from the flowers if you search around under the leaves.

If the endocarp (pod) isn't dry yet and the seeds are looking really white, they may need more time to develop before you plant them. Try the ones you have and leave some more on the plants outside for a couple more weeks, then harvest the pod and try planting those seeds. I'm not sure what the maturation time for those seeds are, but I'd guess it isn't long.
