Zoo med reptitherm habitat heater

Anyone use this I want to put this in my reds enclosure anyone know if it's safe to use under cypress mulch? im paranoid of fires

If you are talking about the undertank heat pads, this should be fine. Always use a thermostat or rheostat.

No this one is different goes i believe right inside the tank

It appears that it can be used IN the enclosure, but I would follow the instructions (see the PDF in that link). I would still use a thermostat with any heating product as a safety measure.

Thanks I dident see the PDF before says not to cover anything with it including substrate. I guess the other heaters would work just as well for me then.
