Yellow marks on my med tortoise front leg

Hi all

any idea what causes of yellow patch that has appeared on my torts front leg?

It looks as though those are new scales growing in where the original scales came off. This could be caused by an injury, an infection, a rodent bite, or maybe even the bite of another tortoise during feeding.

Is that the only spot or are there others?

No just there on his front leg, never know with these guys best to be sure

Then I would consider it to be a bite wound or an infection which is healing.
