This is spud who doesnt seem to grow very much he is actually two years old and is tiny compared to his younger friends.

Great looking tortoises! Do you notice Spud's eating habits? Do they all eat together at the same time? If he's not growing much and he's 2 years old, you might want to seclude him from the others and make sure he's getting all his food. Maybe he's getting bullied for food?

Just a thought.

hi thanks for info He is alone now and seems to be improving slowly.after chatting to breeder from whom I got him from he said it could be numarous things, I beleive he is just a slow grower because he eats like a pig!

I like how alott of them got really lite heads and skin,Also how hard is the small males shell? cuz i have a yearling star and he seems slow to put on weight but eats alot and slowly his shells gettn harder thats why im wondering how hard yours is at two years old.

hi his shell is quite hard his just very small compared to my females but again this is to be expected as females grow quicker and are always larger than males. x
