I keep my Sri Lankan and Burmese stars the same way. Both live outdoors year round in Southern California. Only time they are locked up in their heated house is when temps drop under 55F or under 65 and it’s raining. I find their personalities to be pretty similar.

I think indian stars have a bad rep for being delicate. If they are captive bred and have not been mixed with other species (like sooo many have been) they are a hardy species and handle a wide range of temps and humidity well.
