Worms?

Today I acquired a homes hingeback tortoise from LLLreptile. After an intial check and soak I placed the tortoise in his enclosure and he walked on over and sat in the water dish, serval hours later I went to check on him and he's still in the dish. When I picked him up I noticed these worm like objects under him in the water. Are these worms or just weird feces?

They’re worms. Take a fresh poop sample to a vet so they can be identified (the vet will look for eggs s/he doesn’t need to see worms) and appropriate medication prescribed.
