Will this light be okay for a Russian tort?

I need to replace a ceramic light holder that I had used for heat. I use flood light bulbs as a previous member suggested. Would this light bulb holder be a good replacement for a Russian tort?

I'm not able to enlarge the pic, but that looks to be a ceramic base? If yes, you can remove the wires from the front and it will work great. Hang it from above. Don't use the clamp.

I just realized it is aluminum with a porcelain socket. This was from Home Depot. I know some members have mentioned buying light holders from hardware stores. I will have to keep looking. It has to be ceramic correct?
