If I were you and had the chance I'd stay over on that side of the
mountains. Only reason we moved back to the wetside (oops I mean
westside) is the grandkids. We lived between Seattle and Spokane.
I so miss it. But my grandchildren are such a joy and now live with us,
I wouldn't want it any other way....errr... unless I could convince their
parents to move east of the mountains
Eastern Washington! Kennewick.
[/align]Nice to see some others! Whenever I say Washington people think I'm in DC and when I say state they think I'm in the coast! Then I give them a small geology lesson and they understand Washington state has many more climates than coastal!
I'm in Kent, WA. joejvigil I have an outdoor enclosure in my backyard, it's about 2 ft x 12 ft. It's basically a flower bed along the outside of our house, with a cement block border. It gets a lot of sun, when the sun is out! If the sun is shining and I'm home, then my tort Gary is in his outdoor pen. I'm too nervous to leave him in there when I'm not home. I always check on him throughout the day He is loving our 90 degree weather right now! I've got lots of potted plants in there to provide shade (all fun stuff he can eat), plus a hide, big flat rock he can climb and a branch to crawl over.
Indoors he has a 40 gallon tank right now. I now know that's too small for him, so I plan to make a tort table before fall. I'm excited and have been getting lots of ideas online. I plan to use an old bookcase.
Ok all. I think we should all of us plan on meeting at the Wilsonville show in August. If you've never been, it a great show, but it is crowded. That's a good sign though. Next year it will be held in a larger venue. Who all is in?
