White spots on shell

What are these white spots? I took him to the vet last month and they said it was calcium deficiency. I started giving calcium and it hasn’t improved. Any thoughts? Should I take him back to the vet?

It's just new growth color.
Calcium is fine to give, small pinch couples times a week, but the coloration is not from lack of calcium.
I would find a new vet though. The one you have obviously knows nothing about tortoises.
