Sorry I don't think any of those songs qualify.

Seriously, though. A boat and a pony, every mans dream.

Yes, I've heard them all, but Rufus Wainwright is my favorite.

He definitely does a great cover of it...my favorite tune from the SHREK soundtrack, and that's saying something, as it has several other great songs on it, as well.

After considering the question of "What's your favorite song" since it was first asked, I've narrowed it down to these two:

Love a song that actually tell you a story, and these two tell very powerful ones.

Oh how could I forget MacArthur Park!!! Another one of my favorites...Do you remember what the song was on the flip side of MacArthur Park? I'm really showing my age now, but on the "45" there was a song on the flip side..."Didn't We Almost make it...this time" Wow...I must have played that one until it had no lines left.....If you've ever been in love and .....it just couldn't happen for some reason.

Indeed! Think Jimmy Webb might've written that one, as well.

Yeah, another GREAT song!

BTW, Metallica (of all people) do a pretty good version of T.E.O.T.H...it'd be a GREAT version if the lead singer didn't drop the "F-Bomb" about every other line.

Here it is, but be warned: I'm not kidding about the language.
