I guy I kno builds these as garden beds I told him to sell as tortoises enclosures as well.... they can be made into tons of different shapes an sizes as big as u want to go. An are easy to move around the yard for grazing. As tortoise grows u can add pecies may be good indoors as well with some e bedding an maybe a pond liner underneath ?

? I think it's a brilliant idea. As an urban Tortoise owner I move from time to time so the ability to have a mobile safety pen for those times you may need to temporarily contain them for a few hours would be Uber handy. And before anybody gets critical with me understand I am VERY well aware of the extenuating safety concerns that come along with the responsibility of the privilege of being caretaker for our shell babies the list being too long to get into on a post. But my hats off to this idea! I think it's great

Now if they just came with a heavy-duty hardware cloth lid (or something like that) for added predator/escape prevention...

He's in Houston, awesome! When our little redfoot outgrows it's current outdoor space this looks like a nice upgrade. You might have your friend reach out to the BioDude over in Webster. They have a really nice herp shop and don't currently carry anything like this for outdoor tortoises. https://www.thebiodude.com/

Building a simple lid is pretty easy to do. Some torts won’t need a lid, some do. Hardware cloth/wire or even chickenwire, or hog wire is easily formed over a space like this. Even deck lattice would work. I think most folks have trouble building a high enough, well structured outdoor enclosure. This has some potential. I watched the vid, i didnt see the cost. Jury is out, but it does present some with an easy option.

Update: So, $169.00 per kit. Free Shipping for Purchase of 2 sets or more (Exclude Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico)

I saw these and had been considering it for Sheldon's next enclosure. Kinda reminds me of highway road barriers.
