What kind of snake is this?

So I'm fixing up an old planter box for my 2 two year old Hermanns tortoises and when I was digging out some dirt to make room for new dirt I came across this little snake it was at leat 5 inches long and very slim here is a pic

I'm pretty sure it had a different colored under side

thats just a sharped tailed snake

they just like to chill out under rocks and stuff. i find them in my yard.
