Hi Everyone,

This is my 2 year old cherry head named Revan. As the temperature is starting to rise, I've began taking him outside for 1-2 hours everyday. Today he starting biting the concrete. Is he trying to eat it or is he grinding down his beak? Should I move him away or let him do his thing. Also, are the white markings ok on his shell? I've read that they are just growth lines, but i want to be sure.

Thanks for the replies!

A lot of reptiles, birds, and mammals like to eat clay or limestone for their nutritional value. Many cements have clay and limestone as elements of it's makeup. He's probably confused by what he smells.
