Thanks very much for the help. I think I will give it a try, the soil is quite messy and seems to dry out on the surface very quickly@katfinlou
Nature's Footprint 650g Coconut Coir (Pack of 5) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007US3HOQ/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_n23Sub1SFWHRK
we used 2 bricks to fill table but added in a 3rd as fido has started to burrow it at times now
It can't hurt to give it a try, but coco coir is very crumbly. I only tried it once, because it was messier and dried sooner than soil.the soil is quite messy and seems to dry out on the surface very quickly
Because of what happened to me at Christmas i decided to google the risks of allergic reactions to coco coir and found out that there is indeed evidence of it causing respiratory aggravation so ive decided against it. Belle will have to continue making mud pies in her enclosure lolIt can't hurt to give it a try, but coco coir is very crumbly. I only tried it once, because it was messier and dried sooner than soil.
