there’s quite a few weeds in my yard that i haven’t had any luck with identifying. does anyone happen to know what these are and if they’re any good for tortoise food?

Weed #1 looks like it is Phytolacca americana (pokeweed), however at this time of year I would have expected it to be tall and full of purple/black berries. Weed #3 is Atropa belladonna (deadly nightshade). Both are TOXIC to tortoises

Thank you! I’ll be sure to get these cut down.

The second and third picture are allysum; it’s in the brassica family and safe, if your tortoise will eat it.

The fourth and fifth picture are of the same plant, correct? I couldn’t say which one exactly, but it’s a nightshade. This plant family includes tomatoes, eggplant, and as you might guess, deadly nightshade. I don’t know if a tortoise would eat it but wouldn’t take the risk.

I think that last plant is a wild grape? If so, it’s safe but I’m not good with vines so let’s see what someone else says.
