Hi,
We got the cutest tortoise today. Well he is cute to me at least. He was not the most handsome one but when we went in the pet store to get him he was the only one that work up and look at us the proceeded to follow us by crawling over his buddies. My son said I want him. Luckily his eyes and tail was clean. Not sure about his shell though. I am bringing him to the Vet on Monday for his first exam and tests. He was very active and on the way home in his little homemade carrier I made. When I held him he stuck his head out and the kids petted him. He seemed to like it. So we were sold. He did poop and pee in the little box they gave us to transport him. It looked like normal poop to me. I gave him a soaking as soon as we got home and he drank some water. I put him in his home and he went right in his log and went to sleep.
I will post pics tomorrow after he has adjusted.
Temp on one side is 98 degrees and the other side is 76 degrees. Humidity is 52.
