For a baby salcata tortoise...Does the water need to be a special type of water or can it be tap water for a bath and for drinking?

For a baby salcata tortoise...Does the water need to be a special type of water or can it be tap water for a bath and for drinking?

If the tap water is safe for you, then its safe for the tortoise. They need "regular" water for drinking and soaking, but I like to spray them and rinse them after soaks with distilled, RO, or rainwater to prevent hard water stains from forming on the carapace or enclosure walls.
