I seem to have successfully hibernated my Russian. I have checked on him daily and he seems to being doing well. It's his first hibernation and mine!

I am planning to wake him on Monday and would like any advice from experienced hibernators. I have followed the vets advice on the length of hibernation and he will have been asleep for 10 weeks.

Thanks

I always just let mine wake up on their own. I guess if I wanted to wake one up, I would move the box to a warmer area and let him warm up gradually. Once he's moving around in the box you can give him a nice warm soak.

Exactly what I was getting ready to say as well. (Great minds think alike!)

Thanks. I was planning that but wanted to be sure. He's in the fridge so no chance of waking up by himself.
