Hi,
I live in the North East of England where it is very cold much of the time. I am writing on behalf of my father who has a tortoise who has been poorly for some time and under the care of a vet who as well as medicating him, has suggested now that he is housed in a vivarium for some of the time so that he can be suitably warmed. There are many different sizes of vivariums and there would appear to be additional equipment that is necessary too so I wondered if anyone had any experience of using a vivarium with their tortoise and if so what you would advise I look for before my father buys one.
