Hi,

In the next few months I am setting up a vivarium for a new leopard gecko I plan on buying. I decided that, since I’ll have the ability to grow plants, I would like to grow some more of my Indian Star Tortoise’s food in the vivarium and be a little more self-sufficient when it comes to my tort’s diet. Can anyone provide me with a few different types of weeds that would work well in a viv and grow quickly enough that I can harvest them for food without taking the entire plant?

Thanks in advance!

I don't know a lot about gecko's , I have a BTS and an Ackie monitor and they both like to dig and plow through their substrate. I know plants would not have a chance in their enclosures .

I have kept leopard geckos for 20+ years but I can' help with that. I always keep them on non particle substrate.
