Hey guys.
I did quite a bit of creeping on the forum before getting my tort. It was a huge help in getting started and making my decision. So thanks for all the great info and advice you share.
I have a red ear slider and have wanted a tortoise for yearrrrrs. Finally decided to take the plunge with a Hermann's! I have only had her for a few days but am already in love. Just like the turtle, the tort has a great personality and is very active.
Any advice or words of wisdom for a new tortoise owner?
I have attached a few pics of Venus and the current set up. I live in Canada so I plan to have an indoor tortoise table set up by summer and also build an outdoor area for the sort summer we do enjoy.
