I have the 6.2 for UVB and may buy the 6.5 for UVI (UV Index). The lastest research is pointing to an ratio of UVB/UVI as most important.

I want one but they are so expensive for something that you don't use much.

Maybe another way to justify one is this: Its not how much you use it, but how much you save by not throwing bulbs out that still have life left. Some just replace bulbs every 6 or 12 months because they go off test data that varies greatly. If you get 14-18 months (as Mega Ray claims is common) from a bulb you would have previously discarded, the meter will pay for itself over time.
