This is probably a really stupid question-

I bought a UV light fixture that came with 2 long UV lights. I am pretty sure that these were used to by someone to grow plants...

Do these UV lights naturally have UVB? Or do I need to buy a special reptile UV light? I recently had to replace my store bought reptile UV coil bulb but now I'm worried the long bulb doesn't have the right kind of UVB,

Is there any writing on the tubes?

You have to buy the reptile ones with UVB. The plant grow bulbs that come with the fixture don't have UVB. I believe they just have UVA.

UV light is not beneficial to plant growth. As a matter of fact the better a greenhouse panel blocks UV, the better the panel is considered.

The point being, there are not UV plant lights.

An image of the text on the side of the tube would be very helpful.

UVB bulbs cost more to produce, so they almost always brag about it on the bulb, and if it just says 'UV', it is almost ALWAYS UVA.
