Neither is suitable.

Closed chambers work much better. Something around 36x18" will be fine for a hatchling of either of those small species for the first few months.

Thoughts on either of these for a baby tortoise? Either indian star or egyptian.

Or should opt for a fully enclosed glass enclosure to control humidity? If so what is appropriate size?

Thanks in advance
I started with zoomed and quickly switched to a diycage.com Enclosure. It was impossible to keep temp and humidity in the open top enclosure.

They are not perfectly sealed and air is exchanged once a day when you open to feed, clean, and soak

No issues with ventilation, fresh air in a closed enclosure?
It has vents on both sides and I prop the top in one corner to the the desired temp and humidity. I have the 4’ x 2’ x 2’ And have a single 100 watt MVB bulb for the day and a CHE on each side of the enclosure controlled by a thermostat.
