Uneven shell growth?

Hello, I have a 2 year old sulcata tortoise. Recently, I noticed that his/her shell has been curving inwards. This was never a problem before and I am quite worried. Could this be because of his/her diet or maybe humidity?

Here is a picture:
It’s a little hard to see but their third middle back scutes are curved inwards.

Are you talking about the area just above the tail? If so, that may mean that Larry is male. Male sulcatas' shell curve inward above the tail to aid in breeding. The shell holds the tail in place.
