So, a friend gave me a tort last week, and I'm having a hard time getting it to eat...
I asking for some help identifying this species...?

And is it a female?

I think it's fairly rare. . .
This is a female Igneous petrologicus. Be very careful around this creature. They are well known for jumping in your toes.

This species eats spotted jelly beans and rock candy.

I Love it!
It's nice to be silly once in a while. (I'm always Ms. serious, so this is fun!)
Thank you my friends?

Thats a rock n' roll tortoise. Be very careful with it around deep water. They are terrible swimmers. Great pets though, and very easy to care for. Tolerant of a wide range of temperatures and humidity. Feeding couldn't be easier. You can build a heated night box for it, but it is very unlikely to use it very often. They seem to enjoy standing out in the rain.
