This is a Knights Anole.
A cockroach/baby bird, etc eating carnivore.
Grab him at any size and he'll bite you so hard you'll never forget it.
Very cool man! When i was down there i used to see green anoles everywhere( 100’s) and yes it is a big diff getting bit bu a knights and green anole lol

Wow, she looks very cool, but I would be afraid to stroke one or go up to her! Once my daughter kept a lizard at home, I somehow was wary of them

Most Florida lizards will bite you.
But a few species of Skinks and these guys have an AMAZING bite force.
Especially when you consider their smallish size. Usually under a foot long.
It's like a great big man grabbing you with a set of pliers.

when i went to st. lucia there was a lizard and the tour guides said that little american kids cant catch them but i got the big one after the tour guides tried and failed but leave the big ones alone they will bite hard and hold on.

I'm surprised how hard my blue tongue skink was able to bite even when she was only a week old. It didn't really hurt, but it wasn't long til it did.

When she wakes up from brumation, I know I don't want her to bite me!
