Holy moly! This is not what I expected at all! The egg was oblong shaped 5.2 MM x3.9mm. Nothing extra ordinary or large. It was also a found clutch so no idea who might throw twins! Sorry for the quality of the photos, they did not want to stay still and I was worried they might tear the yolk sac. Interestingly, it appeared to be two separate yolk sacs with a thin connection between the two. I'll take better photos in a few days when they recover!
Them coming out of the egg, yes that is a teeny egg that was also part of the clutch. Maybe it was a magic trick and the baby jumped from the little egg to join its sibling. Funnily, the teeny egg has not turned green and chalked over.
