I'm sure many of you have heard about the many turtle & tortoise confiscations that happen in Asia. Here is a little good news about some that were confiscated earlier this year.
The TSA has worked tirelessly to find suitable facilities to care for the animals around the world.
As a result, 50 Yellow Headed Temple Turtles (Hieremys annandalii) have a new home in Florida.
The TSA story(s) here:

Arriving at their new home;

These have found a safe place to live out their lives & will help safeguard the species.

My gosh. . . they're huge! What a nice story. So glad to see them safely ensconced in a natural habitat.

I am assuming the TSA you are talking about is not the TSA monkey a@@ backward nut house that works at the airport.

I thought about the acronym after posting.
The TSA in this instance is the Turtle Survival Alliance,
& I'm glad to say that they WILL NOT frisk you at the air port!
Also there is NO affiliation with the U.S. federal government,
That's most likely why they get things done!

Update:
2 days ago 8 Hieremys annandalii eggs were found.
There is no telling how many eggs / nests these sneaky buggers have stashed in their pen.
I mean, They only have access to 1/2 an acre of dry land in their pen.
How hard could it be?!

Wow that is eggciting news, are you guys leaving it to nature or are you going to incubate them? They must be happy in their new surroundings!

My associates & I look for nests every day in every pen. What is found is incubated.

You're doing a good job with them. Hope everything turns out on the good side.

Is there any chance that they can escape and end up like the Asian carp
