Update on my tortoise: my son took my tortoise to the vet today, turned out to be an abscess. The vet cut it out. See the picture. Now it’s time to heal. I have seen him yet because he’s hiding.

Thanks! He’s going to stay inside most of the time for a couple days to keep it clean. Doesn’t seem to bother him.

I've never seen an abscess that color. Thank goodness it has been removed!
