We have a 1.5 year old leopard tort. We are planning on taking him with us when we go on vacation. We have never traveled with him, and would like to make it as easy and stress free as possible for him and us.

Does anyone have any good ideas as far as carriers go, and temporary housing for him since we don't want to have to bring his whole setup.

Any links to products or suggestions are very much welcome!
Thanks!

Most keepers on this site will be against you traveling with your tortoise. BUT, I use a wooden box with a lid, for the travel part, bring a basking light and that's about it. Tho it would be better to find a baby sitter...

You can't make it stress free. It will be extremely stressful. Best to leave the tortoise home, or move the enclosure to a caretaker's house, if someone can't come feed and water him.

I use a small chicken waterer to ensure I have extra water to drink. I just add a few edible plants and a pile of mazuri before my week long trips.
