Is this the right month for tortoises to come out of their hiding place and start eatting? Barely any of mines are doing that now and its been sunny here for 2 weeks! They only spend 2-3 hours in the sun nowadays :(

Tommy, I was just told that my DT still in hibernation may stay for anothe 2 to 4 weeks depending on the night time weather. I live in the Inland Empire. So I would say yes this is normal. Torts usually will come out in mid to late March here in Ca but if the weather says colder it may be early april.

Yeah, my desert is still on Hibernate, but it seems like the rest are too! Hummm...they barely come out during the day, but the look fine, could there be something wrong is its just because its still cold somehow? Lol

The sulcatas are coming out here in AZ but the weather is in the 80's during the day. My hibernating animals are not up yet, they won't be up until april when it is warmer at night.

Tommy, the desert should still be hibernating and it may still be too cold for the leopards. I'm sure in a few weeks they will all be out.

Yeah. Imma HOPE so! Hehe. Before April, I think all should be out to eat and all. They have been sleeping too much lately, even the Sulcatas, so imma be REALLY worried if they don't come out then.

Thanks for helping me! : )

The weather here is just RANDOM though. It was super hot and sunny one day, cloudy and raining the next...weird. Haha
