Tortoise red marginal

Hi newbie here can anyone tell me if the redness on the near back marginal is okay and what it could be

I only see the slightest hint of red. Can you post some photos of the plastron? If it's a sepsis issue, it's more likely to be predominant there.

I don't see anything super noticeable on the plastron. Does the redness go away and then come back when you press on it? This is a sign of septicaemia. Do you feel any softness? If not, then it's probably nothing to worry about.

It sounds normal then. Keep monitoring it in case it changes or spreads. It could just be a bit of staining from the substrate, which is nothing to worry about.
