I thought that this was fascinating, especially when they show the poor redfoot with 85% of it's shell missing. Just a testament to how resilient they are!

The video is a bit graphic, but it does have a happy ending for "Freddy" (Whose namesake was Freddy Kruger)

Family and friends are always telling me about tortoises/turtles in the news and sending me photos of the tortoises they see at zoos!

This story really contributes to the fact that tortoises are pretty resilient animals.
