Hi guys!
So i have a tortoise that lives in my garden ( soil there is no grass atm)
Anyways my tortoise is active and very fast! but recently (4 days ago) she started sleeping for too long! like a day and half at the same spot, while sleeping her head isn’t completely inside. In the last two days she only ate a slice of cucumber and a slice of lettuce. Also while eating the cucumber i noticed bubbling while eating, i thought it’s because of the cucumber. I’m really worried.
Now she’s slow and can barely climb the step, and i think her hand is looking weird, maybe a cat did something to her?

I am not an expert but a cat should be nowhere near a Tortoise at any time. Tortoises tend to be solitary in the wild. Another thing is that cucumber and lettuce are not the best foods for Tortoises. They're diet should consist of wild grasses, weeds, etc. Make sure that the food is safe first with this https://www.thetortoisetable.org.uk/ website. All I know about bubbling is that it is usually a sign of a respiratory infection. Here is a sulcata caresheet https://www.tortoiseforum.org/threads/the-best-way-to-raise-a-sulcata-leopard-or-star-tortoise.181497/ and here is a caresheet for tempearte species (Hermann, Russian, Etc.) https://www.tortoiseforum.org/threa...ise-any-temperate-species-of-tortoise.183131/ :)

When in doubt, go to the vet.
