Tortoise eye!!

I put my sulcata in his tub to soak and I noticed he kept rubbing his eye on his arm. When I looked it had a pink skin over it! It's never done this before. I took a picture of it and when I looked back at him it was all fixed. What in the world just happened?!

I'm gonna wager a guess that something got lodged in its conjunctiva that was discharged while soaking.

He looks great now, no swelling, it just scared me so bad!
