This grasshopper has been living with my tortoise for about a month now and sharing Miss T's food and living quarters. She doesn't seem to mind, he takes the occasional ride around her tub and sleeps on the rock outside of her tent every night. He is missing one leg but seems quite content. Grasshoppers only live 2 months. Sooooo... in the near future, he will be gone. She seems to be kind of attached to him is she going to be sad? Do tortoises have those types of feelings?

That's kinda cool.
No your tort won't be sad. They don't have those kinds of emotions.

The photos are so lovely! She won't be sad though when Mr or Mrs Hopper leaves. Our tortoises are very happy in their own company and I think it is great your tort allowed the grasshopper some time with her :)
