Torti is a 1 year and 9 month old sulcata who was diagnosed with pneumonia one week ago. He was having eyelid swelling and difficulty breathing that looks like extending his neck and then gulping deeply. He was shipped to me 2-3 weeks ago from my old home (I moved a few months ago) so I think the transportation might have been pretty rough on him :( . He has had 3 doses of ceftazidime so far. I am keeping his home at 30-50% humidity and 80-95F. He is eating well and seems ok with energy. Gets soaked twice a day. Is there anything else I can do for him?? supplements? He still sticking his neck out and making that gulping movement and his eyelids haven't returned to normal yet. @Tom

He is in a 40 gal glass tank (which I think may be too small after reading a few recent threads since it's only 3x2ft) with coco coir substrate. I've only had a blanket on top of his enclosure but I can find a proper lid if that's better. I am feeding him a constant variety of greens: chard, mustard greens, dandelions, kale, spinach, radicchio, escarole, endive. Any advise is welcome to support him in general or tips for his sickness

30-50 % humidity is too low. You should try to keep the humidity at 85 %. Temps should be 90 F day and night. Can you show us some pics of your tort and the enclosure ? Supplements won`t help but warmth and humidity.

Hi Lorena. Here is all the sulcata info in one place to help you get him set up correctly. The temperatures listed are for a normal healthy baby. Since yours is fighting illness, Would go 5-10 degrees warm until two weeks after symptoms are gone.

These should help, but please feel free to come back and question any of this.
