Troggy is getting big. Fast. At not quite five months, he's over 100g. A friend who is raising a sulcata who is a few months older raised the concern that he's growing too fast and that it could cause issues. She was concerned about pyramiding (I sent her some articles about humidity and pointed her towards the forum) but I'm wondering if fast growth is an issue?

His diet is weeds, dark leafy greens, Mazuri, and very occasionally some canned dog food (twice in a month, a serving the size of a pea). He's always grazing - I leave food out all day, plus he's got weeds growing in his enclosure which he feasts on en route to his various destinations.

Should I leave less out for him? Is overeating an issue? Should I stop fretting so much and just enjoy my little eating machine?

From what I recall more experienced folks saying in the past as long as he is eating healthy it's all good. It's when they are getting fat on junk food that is a big concern.
