We are in a warm trend down here in Louisiana and my turtles are starting to emerge. I miss these guys...and gals. The males were already tackling females lol. The males don't care about eating because the romance is obviously more important.ImageUploadedByTortForum1392671240.960737.jpg

It's so exciting when they come up, isn't it? Mine are all up here in So Cal! I miss them so much during the winter too.

Aww! As far as the romance being more important then the food, I think that can be said for some other species too * clearing throat*

Oh, thanks for the added reminder that we had warm temps the last couple of days and are now headed back into snow and cold. I need to double check on my box turtles, as I left them out this winter. I already lost one who came out during one warming trend and didn't get back under in time. :(

Glad to see yours are being back to normal. :)

We had two warm days in a row here. Yesterday they stayed in there hide, but today I caught one of them taking a dip.
