We are in a warm trend down here in Louisiana and my turtles are starting to emerge. I miss these guys...and gals. The males were already tackling females lol. The males don't care about eating because the romance is obviously more important. ImageUploadedByTortForum1392671240.960737.jpg

It's so exciting when they come up, isn't it? Mine are all up here in So Cal! I miss them so much during the winter too.

Aww! As far as the romance being more important then the food, I think that can be said for some other species too * clearing throat*

Oh, thanks for the added reminder that we had warm temps the last couple of days and are now headed back into snow and cold. I need to double check on my box turtles, as I left them out this winter. I already lost one who came out during one warming trend and didn't get back under in time. :(

Glad to see yours are being back to normal. :)

We had two warm days in a row here. Yesterday they stayed in there hide, but today I caught one of them taking a dip.
