I've raised several Argentine B&Ws and reds too, but I don't have any right now. Great lizards.

Unfortunately. You can no longer buy them here.
They've taken over Miami.
I've seen some that were absolutely tame.
But I wouldn't tangle with a large feral one.
Get a small one and spend lots of time with it.

I had a green iguana for 17 years and he was quite the adventure lol
That's funny.
Another too common pet trade lizard that we can no longer buy here.
But I could go grab one out of my bushes.
Whatever you do....Don't ever release a big lizard if it gets too big.

Yeah.. u guys have alot of invasive species down there. Not a prob here they wouldnt survive the winter. People like that are the reason they are trying to put restrictions o reptile ownership and ruin it for the responsible ones

All pet shops sold lizards that got large and unruly. But there were few options for anyone that got in over their heads with them.
Same thing with snakes and exotic fish.
Now they have taken over.

It's amazing how many released exotics are now common here.
Fishes, birds, insects, reptiles....Canadian citizens....:)
