Anyone have any suggestions on a good t5 uvb bulb for a greek tort? Looking to switch from mercury vapour, and product reviews seem to vary greatly. Tia.

I got one from LLL REPTILE and 3 others from BIG ALS PETS online.
They go for about $50 and they come complete with the tube. Ready to use.
Itll need to be from 12" to 20" away from your tortoise.

Great that should be no problem. Will this tube provide enough natural light and or heat as well, or should I supplement with additional? I have one extra CHE in the foresty part of the enc, but needthe basking area to be 100 ish

Plenty of light and all of the required UVB....But very little to no heat. Just the tiny bit generated by the electronic ballast.
You can use a supplemental CHE or a low wattage incandescent household light bulb for heat....Depending on your climate and situation
