Hey there TFO folks,

Some of you have been asking about Livingstone and how he's doing... And despite my sincere efforts to adequately explain his setup and condition I have been at a loss to effectively communicate his health and size. His outdoor house is still going strong, I insulated recently to help keep the heat in on chilly nights, and added an extra 100w CHE. I can now keep his house in the 80's, which seems to be making him a happy camper.

This first pic is of the insulation and you can see one of the CHE's.

These are a few of him grazing.

This is our hound Sienna, lovingly referred to as the 50lb hound. We don't let her out unsupervised with the tortoise for obvious reasons but she shows only a vague interest.

Thanks for looking. Questions and comments are welcome.

GREAT job...and he looks awesome! He is one of the few (initially kept inside) that turned out looking great! I can't say enough about him...or his owners ;) I just need a length and weight...at your convenience!

Good eyes Tom. That is a combination of neosporin and dirt. He damaged the keratin right at the growth area between two scutes. The photos were taken before he was cleaned and fresh neosporin was applied. I didn't want to portray his life as an outdoor tortoise falsely.

Copy that. My outdoor torts live the rugged life too. They've got their share of dents and dings... ;)

She's a rescue. Supposedly red-bone raccoon hound and something else.
