We have four Sulcata's here (and a 2" hatchling in Dallas area) that need to
be placed before it gets too cold to ship. Maybe five if we don't find the
owner of one that was found in a park that was likely dumped there. If you
can find it in your heart to make room for one or more of these wonderful
tortoises and have an application on file please email me off list and let
me know which one you would like. You are only responsible for shipping
charges. If you don't have an application on file it can be submitted via
our website under 'adoptions' in the main menu. Photos can be found here.

Way to re-post, Terry! Julie's a great lady for taking these guys in, hopefully this will help get the word out, and find them some new homes!

If I am not mistaken the long island rescue won't adopt females to someone who has a male ( I don't know your situation just saying) But I do think they adopt out all over, might want to contact them, and see.

Julie is very dedicated to finding the right home. I know she will only adopt to warm weather states, and NOT for breeding. You have no idea how many Sulcata are brought into the rescue when people here realize that they have to take them in for the Winter, and how destructive they can be. And yes, she does ship.
