Sulcata Newbie building Tort table-Check my specs

Ok so I am having some questions about how you guys hang the heat lamps inside the enclosure. I was always under the impression it wasn't good to hang something by its electrical cord, but it looks like many on here do it. How do you go about hanging the lamps that don't have hooks on them already? How do you secure the cord to the enclosure so that the lamp doesn't pull the cord out of the power strip?

I use a 90° bent piece of electrical conduit and I wrap electrical tape around it and the cord to hold the light in place. But that's just because that's what was lying around at work.
