Hello everyone, so I recently got my sulcata tortoise, he is four months old and the day after received him he poop on water bowl two nice poops. That was the last time he pooped. It was about a week ago... not sure why he is not pooping anymore. Read that they sometimes eat their poop or burry it? I’ve looked around and have not seen any poop. Not sure if he is eating it. The other day he had some poop smooshed under his tail while he was under his hiding place and cleaned it off but still don’t see any dropping’s on the ground of enclosure.

He is very healthy, he eats a lot about two times a day. Give him warm baths 2-3 Times a week. Feed him calcium. His enclosure is 110 under basking and overall about 80-85. Humidity is a little low, like 30-40s. He is always active moving around. He is a little scared and shy. I’m not sure if he is maybe afraid to poop? Don’t really know just worried. Please any advice will help!

If you found poop under his tail, that means he went. It is likely that he is eating it.

He should be soaked daily.
Calcium once or twice a week.
Basking area should be only 95-100. 110 is going to dry out the carapace and make the pyramiding worse.
Humidity in the 30-40% range is going to cause pyramiding. Right now irreversible damage is being done. If you don't change this ASAP, the damage will get worse and the end result will be a permanently disfigured tortoise.
